A gripping and well written thriller by a great author
After reading Gary’s first book ‘Narcissus: A Tate Randall Thriller’, which I have to say was one of the best books that I have read for many years, I was very pleased to know that Gary has written the second book ‘Narcissus II – The Seven Acts of Mercy: A Tate Randall Thriller’.
I downloaded this book on the day of its release and once I started I could not put it down. The story line is absolutely brilliant and continues on from the first book with the same main characters hunting down the Narcissus. The plot is so well written and easy to read and follow. The characters we all loved in the first book continue onward into the second instalment. The book is so engaging that it draws you into a world of intrigue and mystery that you cannot put the book down.
After now finishing the second book, I have ready started to reread the first book again.
I cannot wait for the next instalment.
To anybody reading this review, I highly recommend that you read these books. You will not be disappointed.

" What an absolutely brilliant story set over the two Narcissus books. Captivating story telling at its very best. A story that grabs you by the collar and refuses to let you go. Characters so well constructed you'd recognise them in the street if they walked past you, all except for the mysterious Narcissus of course. Short chapters that power you along and keep the story moving at a pace so fast you need to fasten your seat belt. QR code links that take you to images of places and objects that further inform the story. Each book was read over a period of 3 or 4 days. It's usually 3 or 4 weeks when I read a book but Narcissus 1 and 2 are just something else. What an amazing journey to take. "

Art Crime Thriller at its best.
" I have recently finished reading this book after purchasing directly from the author and I have to say it is very good book.
Following on from the original Narcissus where we were left in suspense, Detective Tate Randall back on the trail of the Narcissus as they begin a gruesome (retribution in their mind) killing spree of shady art world characters across London. Does Tate catch the Narcissus this time - well that's where you'll need to read the book to find out but needless to say it's a great read, full of twists, turns and nods to a few hidden rock gems too. As with the first book the research has been meticulous and once again there are QR codes throughout to really bring the story to life.
If you like a good detective / crime story then get yourself aboard the Narcissus train as you're in for a fun time.
Already anticipating the third instalment. "

What a Read

"I was given this book as a present and I normally read non fiction but the depth of research which has gone into this novel intrigued me. I thought the plot development was excellent and the ending was a surprise. Can’t wait for a sequel."

Wow...and Wow again!
" I have eagerly awaited book 2 having thoroughly ,' enjoyed,' book 1.
Book 2 certainly does NOT disappoint.
The Author has without doubt ,' upped
his game!' Once again the book is well paced ,those short chapters encouraging us to read ,' just one more!' The plot is SO tense and the tension grows as we turn each page. I wanted to read on but
just didn't want the story to end.
The research and exacting attention to detail is remarkable..one is taken to situations one can never begin to imagine!
In short this is set to be a BEST SELLER. I kept thinking what a film it would make, though not for the squeamish!
This new Author is a great discovery and l can't wait for his new offering.
This sure was a THRILLING thriller! A Tip top read, don't hesitate buy it NOW! "
